Andrew Fullerton and Caroline Hedlund Class of 2021 Alumni Representatives The Wilder Bell One of the few surviving mementos of Breck’s original campus in Wilder, Minnesota, the bell was rung from the clock tower from 1890 until the campus was demolished in 1910. It was stored in a hayloft, then installed at Sacred Heart Catholic Church in nearby Heron Lake. To mark Breck’s Centennial in 1986, the church returned the bell to Breck. The ceremonial ringing of the Wilder Bell by seniors just before Commencement has been a cherished tradition ever since. Phoenix Processional, by Dan Locklair The Class will line the sidewalk as members of the faculty pass through on their way to the Chapel of the Holy Spirit. Procession will be in the following order: Master Teachers, faculty and staff in order from longest-serving to most recent, members of the Breck Board of Trustees, senior administrators, Head of School Dr. Natalia Rico Hernández, The Rt. Rev. Craig W. Loya, and the Class of 2021. Please remain seated during the processional so all can see the graduates, in contrast with the church and military custom that dictates standing for processional crosses and the American flag. We also ask you to refrain from flash photography during the service and turn off all electronic devices. Thank you.
